Tephrocactus articulatus var. inermis, also known as Pine Cone Cactus, is a spineless upright succulent with silver to powdery blue knobby stem segments that resemble pine cones. It grows up to 24 inches (60 cm) tall and spread 4 feet (1.2 m) wide. It produces small tufts with erect stems.

Soil: Porous and well-drained potting soil.
Water: Minimal water is needed. Pine Cone Cactus is drought-resistant and grows best in hot dry areas. Overwatering could lead to root rot.
